My village - Mtarfa

Hello!! I live in Mtarfa and that’s what I am going to write about in this article. I moved to Mtarfa five years ago. I have never been so fond of a village as I am of Mtarfa. When I moved in, I knew my life would be much quieter. Mtarfa is a quiet and clean village where you can find all the amenities you will need. Most of the amenities are found in the town centre.

Near the town centre is the clock tower. The clock tower, along with some shelters of World War I and World War II and the old hospital, which is now a school, are all opened and exhibited to the public in the once-a-year festival, Military Mtarfa”. During this festival, the town square would be flooded with people and stalls.

Most of Marfa’s buildings were built by the British in the early twentieth century. The coat of arms of Mtarfa is a hill with a castle on top of it. The park of Mtarfa is a work-in-progress but construction had to stop as some British wells were found.

I love living in Mtarfa as it is clean, quite small, and it has everything you need in it. I recommend this village as it is a lovely place.

Bye
Lizzie
