It was the fifteenth of
October, my birthday. It was the worst day of my entire life. Nobody would talk
to me. My parents said that they were busy as they had to help the old lady
next door. My siblings ignored me and my friends looked right through me as if
I was invisible.
I felt miserable. I
locked myself in my room and tried to do some homework. I didn’t understand any
of it. I felt hungry so I went downstairs to eat something. Mum hadn’t cooked
yet so I made a sandwich. Mum said that she would go clean my room while I was
eating. I felt tired so I went to sleep. I switched on the light. Surprise!! All
my friends were in front of me, on my bed!
I didn’t even realise!
All the time my family and friends were planning a surprise birthday party! My
mum took us to the garage. There were streamers, ribbons and balloons
everywhere. I noticed that there was our television and DVD player, as well as
a sofa and sleeping bags. My mum placed the food and drinks and told us that if
we needed anything we just send her a message on her phone. We watched a film,
danced and sang. We also told scary stories. That was the best birthday ever!
I didn’t know how to
thank my parents and friends. That was last month, but guess what? My friend’s
mum is going to organise a party for her daughter!
