The Most Exciting Holiday of my Life

My best holiday was when I went to Pony Park City.  When you go to Pony Park City you can rent a pony for the whole week or more.  It is important that you take care of the pony by brushing , feeding and riding it.

I went to Pony Park City more than once but I am only going to write about my first trip there.  The first time I went I was unaware that I was going there because my family gave me a surprise.  We were on the plane when they told me.  I realised that everybody knew about the trip except for me.  They weren't even supposed to tell me on the plane but my grandmother forgot and she told me.

As soon as we arrived I was confused because I didn’t see any ponies.  My mother soon explained that first we would have a show and see all the ponies and animals and then we could go and choose our own pony.

I was so happy when it was time to pick my pony.  I wanted a pony which ran fast so they gave me Peter.  I was really excited and happy with him.  My mother also told me if I wanted I could keep the same pony or else I could change it everyday.  I loved Peter too much and didn’t want to change him so I decided to stay with the same pony.

When finally it was time for us to leave I cried a lot.  I didn’t want to leave Peter and Pony Park City but then we had to go.  So we finally left.  On that day I hoped and wished to go back to Pony Park City and ride Peter again because I loved them so much and cannot bear not to see them again.

The Most Exciting Holiday

It was the last day of school and everyone was so excited for the holidays. As soon as I got home my mother told me that we had to go somewhere so we all went in my father's car and went to this unknown place.

Suddenly we stopped. We were at the airport and I asked why we were here. My brother thought we were going to Burger King, but I knew it wasn't the case. My mother told us that our Christmas present was coming early. Then I couldn't believe my ears. She told us that we were going to England for Christmas. Our stuff was already packed so we grabbed our bags and flew to England.

That week went by so quickly. We played in the snow, made several of snowmen and drank a lot of hot chocolate. But our time in England was soon over. It was the twenty-third of December. We were going home so we could celebrate Christmas with our family. As we got to the airport, we saw that our trip back to Malta was delayed. How could we go back home? It was a long flight. I was starting to lose hope and staarted asking myself, "Are we really missing Christmas?" and "Aren't we going to..." Suddenly my father's phone started to ring. It was his cousin wishing us a Merry Christmas. My father told him what had happened to us. His cousin informed him that his son was coming to England on a different plane. He was going to fly the plane himself so he could give us a lift back to Malta.

What can I say? We got home safe and sound and I can confirm that this was the most exciting holiday of my life!
